Salvation is Mind Boggling – Look at All that God Does

Salvation is Mind Boggling – Look at All that God Does

This is the one and only gospel that saves.

‘Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, ‘

I Corinthians 15:1-4

We Don’t Feel saved; We Believe God

Just think about it: the Creator of the Universe saved us without even having to check us out, run a background check, or test our knowledge of the Bible. If a person, any person, believes “the gospel” by faith alone, He saves us. That’s it! God reconciled the whole world to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ, without taking a second look at any of us! That’s unmerited grace.

Don’t let anyone steal the joy of your “salvation.”. If you believe the gospel, you are saved. There is no Scripture support for God being a liar. If God promised salvation to those who believe by faith alone in the gospel of grace (1 Corinthians 15:1-4),. If you truly believe that Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later, you are saved. God said to believe Him; that’s faith.

‘that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ‘

Romans 10:9

‘For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.’

I Thessalonians 4:14

Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:18

19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Colossians 1:19-20

Those who don’t believe in “God’s grace” (unmerited favor) and accuse those who do of promoting a license to sin are promised condemnation. They frustrate God’s grace (Galatians 2:21) by stomping on the truth in unrighteousness because, even though they know God, they are destitute of faith, just like Esau, like the legalists of the apostle Paul’s day. Their condemnation is just and promised by God. (Romans 3:7,8)

But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner? 8 And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), “Let us do evil that good may come”?

Their condemnation is just.

Romans 3:7,8

Look at Everything That God Does the Moment You Believe

It’s mind-boggling. The very instant you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later, God moves in and does a work in you.

You probably don’t feel like Christ’s righteousness was imputed to you. But it was! You probably don’t feel like you’re justified. But you are! You don’t feel like you’ve been moved from the domain of darkness to the kingdom of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ! But you’re already in the heavens with Christ.

How do you know all these things happened?

Because His Word says so! That’s the only way we know by faith alone. So, believe what God has promised you; rest in His Word.

‘being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; ‘

Philippians 1:6

We do nothing but believe. It is God Who does the work needed to change us. To make us a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Imputed Righteousness                                  Romans 3:21,22

Justification                                                     Romans 3:24

A New Creation                                                         2 Corinthians 5:17

Redemption                                                      Col 1:14

Forgiven                                                            Eph 1:7, Colossians 1:14

Crucified                                                           Romans 6:6, Galatians 2:20

Translated                                                        Colossians 1:13, Ephesians 1:3

Sealed with the Holy Spirit                                   Ephesians 1:13

Reconciled                                                       2 Corinthians 5

Translated                                                        Colossians 1:12-13

Glorified                                                            Romans 8:17

Baptized by the Spirit

into the Body of Christ                                  1 Corinthians 12:13

In Conclusion

The very moment you believe God steps in and does all of the above because of your faith alone in the gospel. God knows whether or not a person really believes what He says or not.  When you believe and Christ’s righteousness is imputed to you, God no longer sees your sin(s); He sees His Son’s righteousness in you. It’s mind-boggling, but we take it by faith.

How Do I Know I’m Saved?

How Do I Know I’m Saved?

How do I know I’m Saved?

How do I know that I’m Saved? Is the most frequently asked question. The answer is simple but not everyone likes it or can believe it. It can’t be that easy, can it? Is a popular response.  It’s human nature to want to do something for salvation, but we don’t have too. God doesn’t ask us to do anything but believe that His Son Jesus Christ did everything required for our salvation.

Scripture says it best.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21.

18  Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

19  namely, that God was in Christ (death, burial & resurrection) reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their (mankind) trespasses (sins) against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

And how did all this happen? Next verse…

21 He (God the Father) made Him (Jesus Christ the Son of God) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Hard to twist those verses, so plain, and crystal clear. Jesus Christ death, burial, and resurrection are sufficient for salvation.

But How Do I Really Know I’m Saved

The answer is because God said if you believe by faith in the gospel you are saved. If you were hoping for visions of angels singing, or trumpets blowing or at least a certificate in the mail that you can cling too for comfort. Sorry NOT HAPPENING!

God’s Promise Will Suffice. That’s It. God said it so we believe it.

The Scripture is so clear, that if you believe the gospel you are saved.

The gospel is most clearly defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,

2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Ephesians 2:8,9

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9,10

13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14  who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 1:13

These verses clearly state that you are saved the moment you believe the gospel. Remember this is God saying this not Paul. God doesn’t say you’re saved but I’ll check back with you in 3 months than again in a year. Don’t frustrate the mercy and grace that God has poured out to you and all mankind. (Galatians 2:21)

God Saves Us, It’s All About God and His Glory

Take a look at all the things God does the moment you believe;

Is God just going to take it all back every time you do something wrong? Ridiculous! Doesn’t sound like grace to me. Trust in His promises because of who He is. Rest in His word and have faith because God is always faithful.

It Always Comes Down to Faith

The key ingredient for salvation is faith. Believing, trust, and faith all mean the same thing. A person has to believe what God says because without faith it is impossible to please Him.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

Romans 4:5

From the very beginning of Biblical history, it’s a person’s faith in what God says that will save them. In the book of Hebrews chapter 11, it is clear Salvation has always been by faith. By faith, Abel offered God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, by faith Noah believed God, built the ark and was found righteous. By faith, the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. Throughout the Bible, salvation has always been the result of a person’s faith (believing) in what God says.

God is Always Faithful

Asking the question “How do I know I’m Saved?” is a legitimate question for new believers and even for not so new believers. We are only human and doubts will enter our mind. We have to realize that there are many things in the Bible that are hard to understand. Things that are simply just mind boggling but that’s where faith comes in. God said it so I believe it. When it comes to your Salvation you must trust what God says and be totally convinced that He will fulfill what He promised. As you grow and mature in the Scripture your faith will strengthen. So pray and ask God to strengthen your faith and study your Bible daily. Most importantly, as soon as a tiny drop of doubt starts to enter your mind remember that God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL.

No That Isn’t How Christianity Started

No That Isn’t How Christianity Started

No That Isn’t How Christianity Started

While there are many truths in the “Traditional Christianity Narrative” it is absolutely false and has led to so much confusion and division in the Body of Christ. Below is a list of Biblical truths that smash the traditional Christianity narrative.

Download our Biblical Timeline it will help clarify when Christianity Began

  • No, Paul did not join Peter and the eleven and spread the gospel all over the world, baptizing and adding believers to the Body of Christ.

  • John the Baptist was the prophet spoken of in Isaiah and Malachi that would come on the scene as the herald of Israel’s King.  (Isaiah 40:1,2) John the Baptist ministry wasn’t to set up the Body of Christ it was to announce to Israel that their King was coming!

  • The apostle Peter and the 11 preached the gospel of the Kingdom, (Matthew 10:5-7) it was the identical message that John the Baptist preached. (Matthew 3:2) Israel’s promised King was coming to fulfill the promises made to the fathers. (Romans 15:8)

Jesus Christ was born of the woman, raised under the Mosaic law and preached the gospel of the Kingdom. Jesus never told anyone to stop practicing the law or shut down the Temple. Just the opposite. Jesus was among His people, the Messiah that Israel had been waiting for over a thousand years was walking among His people fulfilling the promises made to the fathers. (Romans 15:8, Luke 1:67-77)

  • Jesus commanded the 12 not to go to the Gentiles and they didn’t.

(Matthew 10:5-8) There is no record of the apostles having a ministry to the Gentile world. If they did then the book of Ephesians, Colossians, Romans, are untrue. We either believe what God says in Ephesians 2:11,12 or not? As a matter of fact, there is no record of the 12 apostles leaving Jerusalem and preaching the gospel around the world. “Great Commission” (Mark 16:15-18).

  • It is clear from Acts 15 that Peter and the believers of the Jerusalem Church were still under the law and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom.

It is God who commands Paul to go up to the Jerusalem Church to set the record straight. (Galatians 2:2) And it is the apostle Peter who finally stands up during the “Jerusalem Council” and says “But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are.” (Acts 15:11) Why would Peter need to say that if they were already preaching the gospel of grace?

  • 14 Years after John the Baptist and 10-11 years after Pentecost the apostle Paul received the gospel of grace and the doctrines for the Body of Christ, the Church directly from the glorified Lord Jesus. No one taught or instructed Paul (Galatians 1:11,12), it was the apostle Paul that delineated the gospel of grace and the doctrines of grace to Peter and the leaders of the Jerusalem Church, not the other way around! (Galatians 2:6,7)

  • The apostle Paul was the only chosen vessel of God with a ministry to the Gentile world.

Before Paul, the Gentile world was without hope and without God. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” (Acts 9:15,16)

The “Body of Christ” Began with the Gospel of Grace

Christianity began when God revealed to the apostle Paul the gospel of grace, and the doctrines for the Body of Christ, the Church today. God makes it clear to us that before His revelation to Paul, the Gentile world was without hope and without God.

Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12  remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

Ephesians 2:11,12

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began ‘

Romans 16:25

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Ephesians 3:1-11

The Body of Christ which is His Church was a Secret “the Mystery”

The resurrected Lord Jesus revealed the gospel and doctrine of grace to Paul fourteen years after John the Baptist and 11 years after Pentecost. So how could John the Baptist or the twelve apostles teach or preach grace when it wasn’t revealed. They couldn’t and they didn’t there is no record of the twelve apostles having a ministry to Gentiles. None! The gospel of grace the teachings for the Church today which is His Body was a Mystery a secret hid in God from before the ages. Revealed to God’s chosen vessel the apostle Paul, 11 years after Pentecost around 40 AD. Paul was out among the Gentile world preaching and teaching the gospel of the grace of God for around 11 years before the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15.

Paul, Peter and the Jerusalem Church in Agreement

It is at the Jerusalem council where the legalist attempt to convince Paul that the Gentiles need to believe the gospel but also keep the law and be circumcised. But Paul does not give in for a second, (Galatians 2:5) as a matter of record, Paul realizes that those who were of high reputation had nothing to offer he didn’t already know. (Galatians 2:6) It was Paul who shared new revelations with Peter and the Jerusalem leadership. (Galatians 2:7) From Acts 15 until the Church is taken of the scene all mankind will be both saved and judged by Pauls gospel, the gospel of the Grace of God. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

On the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

Romans 2:16

24  Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh, I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions. 25  Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26  that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:24-27

Conclusion

Understanding when the Body of Christ, which is His Church started and when God temporarily put Israel aside. Will make studying the Bible so much easier and enjoyable. (Romans 11:11-12, 11:25-26)

Can a Person Lose Their Salvation? “OSAS”

Can a Person Lose Their Salvation? “OSAS”

Can a Person Lose Their Salvation?

Absolutely Not! God does not play games. Nor is He a liar. He promised if you believe the gospel you are saved. The doctrine of eternal security is simple to understand and clearly delineated in Scripture. God says if you believe the gospel you’re saved. Plain language but because of pride and lack of faith mankind says no to God. “I” must do more than just having faith in the finished work of the cross.

There are forums and hundreds of YouTube videos dedicated to this topic where all believers do is argue over OSAS “once saved always saved”. Did the translators get John 19:30 wrong? Did Jesus say It’s not really finished, you have to do a bit more every day or at least once a week to hold on to your salvation?

Stop Calling God a Liar

Those that oppose what God has promised, that once you’re saved you’re His forever have no faith. They can’t take God at His Word.

To those who oppose once saved always saved:

STOP CALLING GOD A LIAR!

In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago.

Titus 1:2

STOP FRUSTRATING THE GRACE THAT GOD HAS POURED OUT ON ALL MANKIND

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 2:21

STOP TELLING JESUS CHRIST HIS DEATH WAS MEANINGLESS

If mankind doing things would please God than the cross was never needed. But God knew from eternity past that He would need to send His Son Jesus Christ to redeem mankind because it is utterly impossible for mankind to do anything to save ourselves.

1 For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. 2  Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins? 3  But in those sacrifices, there is a reminder of sins year by year. 4  For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5  Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,

“Sacrifice and offering You have not desired,

But a body You have prepared for Me;

6  In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin, You have taken no pleasure.

7  “A Then I said, ‘ Behold, I have come

(In the scroll of the book it is written of Me)

To do Your will, O God.’”

8  After saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the Law), 9  then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second. 10  By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:1-10

This is What God Says on How a Person is Saved

‘For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

I Corinthians 15:3-4

‘In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ‘

Ephesians 1:13

‘in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.’

Romans 2:16

Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 10:9-10 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved.

These verses clearly state that you are saved the moment you believeRemember this is God saying this not Paul. God doesn’t say you’re saved but I’ll check back with you in 3 months than again in 6 months. Don’t frustrate the mercy and grace that God has poured out to you and all mankind. (Galatians 2:21)

Take a look at all the things God does the moment you believe…

  • The moment you believe the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 1:16) you are saved
  • Instantly sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13),
  • Baptized into the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12:13),
  • Indwelled with the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5, 8:9),
  • Become children of God; and Joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17),
  • and blessed with all spiritual blessing in the heavenly’s. (Ephesians 1:3),
  • We are all seated together in the heavenly places in Christ. (Ephesians 2:6)

Is our Lord going to take it all back every time you sin? Or is there one particular sin that takes you out? Ridiculous! That is the complete opposite of grace. Trust in His promises because of who He is.

Savage Wolves Are Already Amoung Us

The apostle Paul warned of these “savage wolves” that would not spare the flock. (Acts 20:29,30) And they would come from within the Church speaking perverse things to draw believers to themselves. WOW! Sound familiar?

Let them come and test your faith, put your trust in what God promised! Nothing can separate you from Christ!

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33  Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34  who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35  Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:31-35

“Those that believe you can lose your salvation are calling God a liar”

It Comes Down to Faith

I know I repeat myself over and over on every topic or question but everything we do for God comes down to faith. Those that believe you can lose your salvation are themselves the very picture of someone with NO FAITH.

That’s why this topic is so important. On one side a person believes what God says and on the other side, the person doesn’t. One is going where the other isn’t, and if those with no faith (you can lose your salvation) in what God says can influence others (unsaved) with their work’s salvation message they’re not saving anyone.

I just hope that someone with questions about the assurance of salvation reads this post, takes the time to study the verses and can be assured once and for all that God promised salvation to all that believe the gospel. Believe God, not Man!!!

Conclusion

In conclusion, if you’re a new believer and you have doubts about your salvation that’s normal. Satan will attack you with doubt but that’s where faith comes in. Put all your faith in what God promised you and rest on His promises because God can not lie and He is always faithful even when we are not. (2 Timothy 2:13) Doubt is normal, we’re only human but God is always faithful. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Is Homosexuality a Sin?

Is Homosexuality a Sin?

Homosexuality is a Detestable and Unnatural Act

Yes. Men having sex with each other is an abomination and condemned by God. Women having sex with each other is also an abomination and condemned by God. This isn’t new news, it’s not like all of sudden Christians have come on the scene proclaiming sodomy is a immoral act and a sin in eyes of God.

23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones,  And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman Because she was taken out of Man.” 24 For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

Genesis 2:24

“Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5  and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6  So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Matthew 19:4,5,6

Scripture is crystal clear on the subject of homosexual behavior, same-sex marriage, and all sexual immorality.

God is also clear on marriage. Marriage is between one man and one woman. Hard to twist Genesis 2:23 & 24, right? There’s nothing in these two verses about a man marrying a man or women be joined with a woman is there?

“Amoral” – lacking a moral sense; unconcerned with the rightness or wrongness of something.

The Bible is crystal clear on the subject of homosexuality.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Romans 1:27 And the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 1:28-32 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.

Enemies of God

What God says about homosexual behavior or any other subject is absolutely meaningless to the LGBTQ crowd. As believers, we need to step away from the rhetoric and focus solely on sharing the gospel with the lost world. Until a lost person comes to the knowledge of Christ they are blinded by Satan and an enemy of God. (Romans 8:7)

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god (Satan) of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:3,4

Because the carnal mind is enmity (enemy) against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Romans 8:7

But a natural (unsaved) man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised (discerned).

2 Corinthians 2:14

A person that practices homosexuality is just as ungodly as any other human being that is lost has no knowledge of the gospel of grace or has rejected the gospel.

A “SINNER” hearing the good news that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried and rose again from the dead. Has a choice to reject the good news or believe the good news. It’s the individual’s decision that determines where they spend eternity. Not their *sins! All mankind are already sinners and headed to a lake of fire because of Adam’s disobedience. (Romans 5:12)

So get off the rhetoric-train and focus on the main thing “the gospel”

We need to share the gospel with as many people as we can every day all the time, everywhere and anywhere. That’s where our energy must focus and remain on sharing the gospel of grace.

Of course, as believers, we recognize that a man having sex with a man is disgusting and sinful behavior but it’s not our job to judge. We’ve all already been judged. Our “ministry” is to share the gospel with the lost. That’s it. If we take a stand, we take a stand on the gospel, not the sin of homosexual, lesbian lifestyle or same sex marriage.

Born Sinners Not Born Gay

The LGBTQ crowd pushes the narrative that a person is born gay or born with same sex attraction It would be laughable if it were not so serious. No one is born gay that’s just stupid talk. But we are ALL born sinners and all under the curse. (Romans 5:12,18) Same sex attraction, same sex marriage, transgender, homosexuality, or a lesbian lifestyle are all products of sin and the curse.

The combination of a demonic powered “sin nature”, rejection of the gospel, destitute of faith and a deep hatred for God, is a recipe for abject wickedness and a reprobate mind. Which is on full display all over the world manifesting right in front of our eyes and growing more wicked by the day.

BUT GOD…

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:4,5,6

But God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6) Take a look at what Paul writes to a group of people that were steeped in all kinds of sin including homosexuality but God saved them.

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

It’s All about the Gospel of Jesus Christ

The amazing mercy and grace that God has poured out on mankind is mind-boggling. When judgment comes to those that rejected His free gift of salvation it won’t be the fire that torments the lost for eternity. It will be the full knowledge of the truth…that God loved them in spite of their sin and all they had to do was believe the gospel.

If you’re reading this and you are living a homosexual or lesbian lifestyle God has already forgiven you and reconciled you to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Colossians 1:19,20,21)

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all your sins, past, present and future, He was buried and rose again three days later. Because of God’s great love for you, He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die in your place to pay for your sins. All He asks is that you believe by faith in the gospel and you will be saved. Only resurrection power can nail your SIN NATURE to the His cross and you will become a new creation, old things are passed away and behold all things have become new.

‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. ‘

2 Corinthians 5:17

But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

Romans 5:20

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

Romans 10:9

19 Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20  Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:19-21

There is nothing else you have to do but believe by faith in the gospel. Then God will take over and do a work in you, and make a new creation. The Creator of the universe loves all mankind so much in spite of our sins that He sent His own Son to die for all. And all He asks is that you believe Him.

 That’s a God of love.

*a person’s sins while they were on earth will play a role in punishment in the lake of fire but does that really matter? (Matthew 23:14, Luke 10:14-15, James 3:1, John 19:11)
