Grow Up Christians! We Must Live Up to the ‘Truth’ of the Gospel Every Day

Sharing the “Truth” or Christ or the gospel is letting people around you in your everyday experience know that Christ loves them, and that He died for them, paid the price for ALL their sin, and that He defeated all the powers of Satan and death when He was raised from the dead. And that all God wants from them is to believe (have faith) in that “Truth”.

‘but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— ‘

Ephesians 4:15

What Saith the Scripture?…

Ephesians 4:15a

‘but, speaking the truth in love…

Not with the idea of creating controversy, or argument, but rather in the spirit of love we (each and every believer) should be sharing the Gospel with the lost world around us. We are to get so skilled with the Gospel and supporting Scriptures that in our everyday experience we are ready and able to share our faith.

Ephesians 4:15b

…may grow up…

It means what it says! Grow Up! The moment we’re saved we are all babes in Christ (I Peter 2:1-2; I Corinthians 3:1-3) but we can’t stay babes. If you have children when they are 3 or 4 years old you don’t want them to grow up but you know they have too. And it’s the same way spiritually, God intends that babes in Christ begin a growth process and mature and grow up into Him. To the point where we are totally dependent on Him, and what are the next three words in that verse?

Ephesians 4:15c

…in all things…

In other words, being “Christian” isn’t just for Sunday’s…! We’ve been given a new life and we live that new life in this world among lost people and our Christian walk is to live up to the Truth of the gospel. No matter who we are or where we are; whether you’re a stockbroker in New York City, a police officer, a stay-at-home mom, a farmer in Oklahoma in the middle of nowhere, or a bus driver in Arizona. It does NOT MATTER. The believer is to always be growing up in Christ and let the growth permeate into every aspect of our lives ‘having our conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27).

Ephesians 4:15d

…into Him who is the head—Christ

Christ is the Head of the body, the Body of Christ, which is the Church. Scripture is so clear on the doctrine of the body of Christ; that it is grace age believers who make up the Body of Christ.

I Corinthians 12:12

‘For as the body (Paul is using the human body as an example) is one and has many members (and what does a body have…fingers, toes, eyes, legs, etc.), but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

The Body of Christ is not made up of the most worthy, the Body of Christ is not made up of great evangelist or only theologians, but rather the Body of Christ is made up of every believer from the greatest to the least of all believers since Paul began preaching the gospel of grace. And we all function as one.

Now verse 13, a crucial Bible verse that clarifies that there is only one baptism that really counts.

I Corinthians 12:13

‘For by one Spirit (The Holy Spirit) we were all (not just the super religious or those with seemingly special knowledge but ALL who believe the gospel of grace are immediately baptized into the body of Christ) baptized into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. ‘

Lastly, we have 1 Corinthians 12:27 that sums up the doctrine of the body of Christ.

‘Now you (remember who Paul is writing too??? us) are the body of Christ, and members individually. ‘

I Corinthians 12:27

‘but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— ‘

Ephesians 4:15

Reading Scripture, Bible Study, Prayer, Singing Hymns it’s Called ‘Worship’

Reading Scripture, Bible Study, Prayer, Singing Hymns it’s Called ‘Worship’

There is no law or decree man can dream up that can stop blood-bought Christians from gathering together to worship the God of glory.

So if you’re not gathering to worship, you need to start. No more excuses.

It isn’t that hard to find 3,4,10 people around you that want to read Scripture, study, pray, sing hymns! That’s called worship!

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:25

Eternal Lives Matter

Eternal Lives Matter

The whole purpose of the Bible is to bring lost mankind to the knowledge of salvation.

All that matters to God is the salvation of mankind. And that should be all that matters to Christians!

But most never share their faith. Not even once.

“Eternal Lives Matter”

None will escape Judgement. As believers, we know this truth.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all (lost and saved) that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.’

John 5:28-29

‘It is a fearful and terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God [ judgment and wrath].’

Hebrews 10:31

So we must share the gospel at all costs. Because that’s ALL that God wants and He is pleading with us to share this message this amazing message of salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:20

‘So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.’

The Apostle Peter’s Last Word’s

It’s important to note that these are the very last words that the apostle Peter would write. And that most of Paul’s epistles have already been written and are circulating among the small house Churches.

II Peter 3:15

“And account (or take note/understand) that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; (the whole reason Scripture, is to bring lost humanity to a knowledge of salvation) even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;”

Now verse 16.

II Peter 3:16a

“As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; (what things is Peter referring too? Salvation! How to be saved, and how we are to know we’re saved. So Peter says, ‘That Paul is speaking of these things’) in which are some things hard to be understood,…(Paul’s message was new and hard to comprehend after all for 1500 years God had no dealings with the Gentile world. But now, Paul’s message was salvation for both Jew and Gentile apart from the law and temple worship. Nevertheless Peter is admonishing his readers to go to Paul for salvation.)

Finishing up verse 16.

II Peter 3:16b

“…in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, (or twisting what was revealed to Paul) as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Wow! Just Wow. Peter makes it so clear that God cares firstly and above all, about the salvation of mankind. And admonishes his readers to find the message of salvation in Paul letters!!!

The Lord is Crystal Clear, there is No Halfway In-Between “You either Believe the Gospel or You Don’t

The Lord is Crystal Clear, there is No Halfway In-Between “You either Believe the Gospel or You Don’t

The majority teaching across Christendom is that if you do everything just enough, that if you do this and do that and hang on you might make it. That’s False Teaching! Scripture doesn’t teach that.

This Bible clearly states that today you are in one of two categories: You are either lost and bound for the lake of fire or you’re saved and heaven-bound to be with the Lord in glory. The Lord is crystal clear, there is no halfway in-between. You either believe the gospel or you don’t… You’re either heaven bound or hell-bound. It’s that simple, that may sound narrow and inclusive and it is because the Bible says so.

All through Scripture there are only two classes of people in the world, you’re either in Christ or you’re not, there is no halfway in-between.

So rest in what God has promised that if you believe the gospel you ARE SAVED.

Romans 8:14

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they (do we hope to be? No, we) are the sons of God.”

Replacement Theology is Man’s Idea Not God’s

Replacement Theology is Man’s Idea Not God’s

Replacement theology, Amillennialism, and covenant theology are cut from the same cloth. These are man’s ideas, not from God

“Replacement Theology” is the idea that the Church is now Israel, or Israel is the Church.

Most mainline Protestant denominations follow this idea. An idea cooked up by men (the so-called Church fathers) who could not reconcile how God could continue to keep His promises to His chosen people in light of the nation of Israel’s consistent rebellion that ultimately led to the crucifixion of their own promised Messiah.

Those who are of this belief system are incapable of taking God at His word, and instead, they come up with their own foolish and erroneous ideas, twisting Scripture to fit their theology.

Using truth to deceive—by that, I mean they use Bible passages but apply a fantasy method of interpretation. A method of interpretation that removes God’s chosen people from prophecy. To the point where they twist a handful of passages and turn God into a liar.

Grossly twisting Bible verses and entire chapters for that matter, like Romans Chapters 9, 10, 11, Matthew 12:48–50, Galatians 3:29, Matthew 3:9, and Romans 2:28–29, as examples. Not using the whole counsel of God, they completely ignore and/or usurp hundreds of promises God made to Israel. Horrors!

You will not find one verse anywhere in Scripture that proponents of replacement theology use to support their belief that God is declaring that “I was wrong; I messed up by choosing one person, Abraham. To start a new race of people, the Jewish people, to be My possession above all other people, to be the apple of my eye, to whom I promised land, to whom I alone promised a King and a kingdom, and from whom (Abraham) and through whom (through Abraham would come the King of Israel, Jesus Christ) all the families of the planet would be blessed. I now instead go back on the hundreds of promises I made to Israel; I go back on all the covenants I made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David; I take back the promise of the King and the kingdom; and I now give everything I promised Israel—everything I promised the Jewish people—to you Gentiles.

God would never say that. It would make Him unfaithful and a liar

THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE ANYWHERE WHERE GOD LIES

THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE ANYWHERE WHERE GOD CHANGES HIS PROMISES

THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE RECORD OF GOD CONTRADICTING HIMSELF

THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE RECORDING OF GOD NOT REALLY MEANING WHAT HE SAYS.

There is no Bible passage that mankind can twist to make God a liar.

When God says, “I will,” that’s a promise, and I put my faith in the God of glory that He will accomplish all that He promised. To both Israel and the Gentiles.
