‘Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.’
Galatians 6:1
In this verse, Paul instructs believers on how to deal with a believer who has committed some gross sin. Even though it goes against our nature, we should be gentle and forgiving, or else, as he says at the end of verse one, “you too will be found guilty of falling.”
It’s a good reminder that we all have to deal with our old Adam every day.
